《北京市国际交往语言环境建设条例》介绍
《北京市国际交往语言环境建设条例》，是全国首部针对国际交往语言环境建设领域的地方性法规。《条例》的主要内容包括公共服务领域外语便利化、规范外语标识和促进社会参与三部分。
The Regulations of Beijing Municipality on Improving Language Environment for International Exchanges is the first local regulations on improving international language environment. It covers three areas, i.e. foreign language facilitation in public services, standardization of foreign language signage, and public engagement.
《条例》的出台是为了从多个方面促进北京国际交往语言环境建设水平的提升，助推北京形成全方位、多层次、宽领域的对外开放新格局，更好地服务首都高水平开放、高质量发展。
The Regulations aim to improve Beijing's foreign language environment for international exchanges, facilitate all-round opening up and boost the city's quality development.
政务服务中心外语便利化服务介绍
目前，北京市共有市、区、乡镇政务服务中心400多个，有些是综合性服务中心，有些是专业分中心。
At present, there are over 400 government affairs service centers at municipal, district and town levels. Some provide comprehensive services, and the rest provide special services.
针对政务服务中心的外语便利化服务，《条例》里考虑了外籍人士办理业务的实际需要。比如，《条例》第八条明确规定“各级政务服务中心根据需要设置外语标识、外语咨询窗口，配备外语服务人员或者外语服务设施、设备，提供业务咨询、事项办理等服务”。
According to the Regulations, government affairs service centers at different levels shall, if necessary, set up foreign language signage and information desks, have foreign language professionals, facilities and equipment in place, to provide consultation and business-handling services.

这些政务服务中心致力于以“无障碍”的语言环境为外籍人士提供便利服务。例如，城市副中心政务服务中心通过外语标识、双语服务窗口、国际服务团队、外语服务设备等方式，提高为外籍人士服务质量。
All government affairs service centers are committed to providing convenient services for foreign friends in a "barrier-free" language environment. For example, the government affairs service center of the administrative center improves the quality of service for foreign friends through foreign language signage, bilingual service counters, international service teams and high-tech language equipment.
外籍人士都很熟悉的出入境管理相关事务也属于政务服务。相关事项都可以在政务服务中心办理。来华的签证、居留许可等多项事务都可以在政务服务中心办理，
The visa application and residence permit procedures, which our foreign friends in Beijing are all familiar with, are part of the government affairs services. Now, such services as visa application and residence permits for foreigners coming to China are provided in these centers.
此外，在北京市公安局的微信公众号“平安北京”上设有“网上北京市公安局”，包括中英双语的“外国人签证办理”在内的100多项事务都能在网上办理。
In addition, on the WeChat public account of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, there is also an "online office" where more than 100 transactions, including "visa for foreigners" can be handled in English.
