《北京市国际交往语言环境建设条例》介绍
《北京市国际交往语言环境建设条例》，是全国首部针对国际交往语言环境建设领域的地方性法规。《条例》的主要内容包括公共服务领域外语便利化、规范外语标识和促进社会参与三部分。
The Regulations of Beijing Municipality on Improving Language Environment for International Exchanges is the first local regulations on improving international language environment. It covers three areas, i.e. foreign language facilitation in public services, standardization of foreign language signage, and public engagement.
《条例》的出台是为了从多个方面促进北京国际交往语言环境建设水平的提升，助推北京形成全方位、多层次、宽领域的对外开放新格局，更好地服务首都高水平开放、高质量发展。
The Regulations aim to improve Beijing's foreign language environment for international exchanges, facilitate all-round opening up and boost the city's quality development.

市政府国际版门户网站是《条例》规定的公共服务领域外语便利化服务的重要内容。它不仅是北京国际形象的代表，也是北京市向外资机构和外籍人士提供城市公共服务信息的重要窗口。国际版网站的网址是www.beijing.gov.cn，2020年10月底正式上线，目前提供英、法、德、西、俄、阿、日、韩等8个语种的国际化网上服务，助力首都开放发展。
The official website of Beijing Municipal Government is an important part of the Regulations. It not only stands for the status of Beijing as an international metropolis, but also serves as a platform where both foreign enterprises and foreigners are provided with public services and relevant information. The address of the website is www.beijing.gov.cn and it was officially launched in October, 2020 with multilingual services, including English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Japanese and Korean.

Up till now, the website has over 70 million hits. In fact, it helps foreigners in Beijing settle down with great ease. Local people can also visit the website to study and improve their English.
网站以服务型网站为定位，坚持“场景化”和用户需求为导向，一共设置了投资、工作、留学、生活、旅游、消费六大主题板块。
Being user-oriented and scenario-embeded, the website consists of six major sections, ie. investing, working, studying, living, travelling and consuming.
1、投资板块，主要介绍北京投资环境、政策、资源等方面的政策信息，包括如何开办企业，如何设立外资企业代表处，还包括税务、法务、公证、仲裁、知识产权保护、人力资源等外资企业开办和经营过程中必备的服务项目。
Investing section highlights information on investment environment, policies and resources, for instance, how to set up a company or branch office of foreign owned enterprises, plus services in taxation, legal affairs, notarization, arbitration, IP protection and human resources.
2、工作板块，主要介绍签证政策、工作许可、居留许可申办流程、外国人如何在京就业、个人所得税申报、工作权益保护等和每一个就业人息息相关的政策和服务信息。
Working section provides information for foreign nationals on the process of visa application, work permit, residence permit. Foreign nationals can also access information on employment, personal income tax, protection of work-related rights and interests etc.
3、留学板块，主要介绍招收国际学生的北京高校，比如北京大学、人民大学以及清华大学等；同时提供来华留学申请的相关信息，比如HSK汉语考试、签证准备、学费、奖学金等。
By browsing the Studying section, prospective international students will have an in-depth understanding of universities which recruit international students in Beijing. Meanwhile, tips on tuition fees, Chinese language proficiency test HSK, visa application as well as scholarship are provided.
4、生活板块， 外国朋友在这可以了解到有关在北京衣、食、住、行、医、金融等信息。
Living section: A to Z information on food, clothing, medicare, transportation and finance is provided in this section.
5、旅游板块，北京作为一座建城3000多年和建都800多年的国际化古都，可以探索和体验的内容太多了。除了紫禁城、天坛等耳熟能详的景点，外国朋友也可以选择游览北京中轴线十处景观、大运河等。
Travelling section: Foreigners in Beijing have a huge variety of scenic spots to explore because Beijing, with a splendid long history of over 3000 years and being the imperial capital city of several dynasties for about 800 years, can provide unique travel experiences. Apart from the renowned Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven, foreigners can also get a taste of the 10 scenic spots along the Central Axis of Beijing or the Grand Canal.
