光网之都、万兆之城

2023年，本市发布《光网之都、万兆之城行动计划（2023-2025年）》，着力推动网络向万兆光网（增强型全光网络，以万兆速率为主要特征）迈进，打造以万兆光网为基础的网络能力领先、创新应用领先、前沿示范领先的“全光万兆”样板城市。

10-Gig City

This refers to Beijing’s initiative to develop enhanced all-optical networks with operating speeds up to 10 gigabits per second. As outlined in the Action Plan for Building a City of Optical Networks and 10-Gigabit Connectivity (2023-2025) released in 2023, the goal is to establish Beijing as a model city that showcases cutting-edge network capabilities, innovative applications and pioneering demonstrations, all supported by full-fiber 10-gigabit networks.
