National Speed Skating Oval, 国家速滑馆

When it  comes to the National Speed Skating Oval, people would love to address  it as "The Ice Ribbon", the shape of which resembles the skating trails of fast-speed skaters. The design has gone through thousands of digital simulations, as well as numerous experimental verifications during the  construction period.

人们通常把国家速滑馆叫做“冰丝带”，其建筑外形就像速滑运动员高速滑行时冰刀留下的轨迹。国家速滑馆在施工建设期间进行了数千次的数字模拟实验和无数次的测试检验。

The National Speed Skating Oval will host the speed skating competitions during the Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. The completion of the roof and the free curving curtain wall of the Oval represents the hardwork of all constructors over the past years. The skating hall of the Oval has an ice surface of about 12,000 square meters, making it the largest speed skating stadium in Asia.

国家速滑馆是2022年北京冬奥会和冬残奥会期间速滑项目的比赛场地。速滑馆屋顶结构和曲面幕墙竣工离不开所有建设者连续几年的努力和付出。国家速滑馆的冰面约为1.2万平方米，是亚洲最大的速滑场地。

The National Speed Skating Oval is a sustainable venue equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including innovative energy-conservation and low-carbon emission techniques. It will use the heat generated from ice-making to melt ice in the ice-melting cistern and maintain the ice  surface. These techniques will help to save about 2 million kilowatt-hours of electricity per year.

由于配备了创新节能、低碳排放等最先进的节能技术，国家速滑馆是一个节能环保型场馆。场馆内可利用制冰过程中产生的热量进行融冰，保持冰面的平整。这些先进技术的运用每年将可节电约200万度。

By using artificial intelligence in ice-making system, indoor environment control and energy conservation, the Oval will be able to accurately control the temperature and thickness of the ice and the stability of its surface, providing athletes with a favorable skating condition.

人工智能应用于制冰、室内环境控制和节能等方面，可以精确控制冰的温度、厚度和冰表面的稳定性，为运动员创造良好的比赛环境。

The National Speed Skating Oval is the world's first Winter Olympic venue using carbon dioxide transcritical direct cooling ice-making technology and will produce the largest ice surface in Asia with an area of 12,000 square meters. The temperature difference on the ice surface does not exceed 0.5 degrees centigrade, which is beneficial for athletes to log good results.

国家速滑馆是世界上第一个采用二氧化碳跨临界直接冷却制冰技术的冬奥会场馆，这里拥有冰场面积1.2万平方米，居亚洲首位。整个冰面温差不超过0.5摄氏度，更有利于运动员取得好成绩。
