第十二讲：那些你必须知道的冬奥场馆英文表达
2022年的北京冬奥会将使用位于北京市区、北京西北部的延庆区和合办城市河北省张家口三个赛区的26个竞赛场馆和非竞赛场馆。所有冰上比赛项目将在北京市区的竞赛场馆举办，在13个冬奥会场馆中，有11个曾在2008年北京奥运会期间使用。
Beijing 2022 will use 26 competition and non-competition venues in three zones: downtown Beijing, the northwestern Yanqing district and co-host Zhangjiakou in North China's Hebei province. In the downtown zone, where all the ice-based sports will be held, 11 of 13 venues were used during the 2008 Summer Olympics.

The National Speed Skating Oval
The National Speed Skating Oval for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics has adopted a unique design in the shape of an ice ribbon, which resembles the trails of skaters. It is located near Beijing 2008 Olympic Games venues "Bird's Nest", "Water Cube" and the Olympic Green Tennis Center, indicating the city's close ties with Olympic games. The outer structure is a curved surface made of over 3,000 pieces of glass. There are 22 tube-shaped lights outside the walls, shaped to give the venue the "Ice Ribbon" name.
The National Speed Skating Oval is six kilometres or a five-minute ride from the Olympic Village. It has a seating capacity of 12,000.

The Big Air Shougang
The Big Air Shougang is the only snow sports venue in the Beijing Zone. Four gold medals will be up for grab here. As the first newly built competition venue for Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games, the Big Air Shougang is like "crystal shoe". It consists of three parts: the track, the referee's desk, and the stand area. The track is 164 meters long, 34 meters wide at the widest and 60 meters high at the highest point.

首钢滑雪大跳台选址首钢老工业园区北区，大跳台周边老厂房和工业构筑物经过修缮改造，具备赛事配套服务功能，充分考虑首钢工业遗存的利用价值。

The Yanqing Zone has a total of 5 competition and non-competition venues. 3 sports (Alpine Skiing, Bobsleigh/Skeleton and Luge), 4 disciplines (Alpine Skiing, Bobsleigh, Skeleton and Luge) and 20 events will be held here. The development of Yanqing Zone will improve local transport and infrastructure facilities of surrounding area, and create favourable conditions for regional development. The construction of the venues uses local terrain as much as possible, minimizing environmental impacts, reducing cut and fill, and saving investments.
延庆赛区共有5个竞赛、非竞赛场馆，将进行3个大项（高山滑雪、雪车、雪橇）、4个分项（高山滑雪、雪车、钢架雪车、雪橇）、20个小项的比赛。延庆赛区的建设将会带动周边地区交通及市政基础设施的建设，为该区域的发展创造条件，其场馆建设也会尽量与环境结合、减少工程量、节省投资。延庆赛区的奥运村将可容纳运动员和随队官员1430人。
