According to a circular released by the municipal government, enterprises in Beijing, other than those involved in the epidemic prevention and control, those that ensure the operation of the city and the supply of residents' daily necessities, and those engaged in the city's key construction projects and other critical matters concerning the national economic development and people's livelihood, should arrange the employees to work flexible hours before midnight February 9, 2020.

Companies, whose employees have to go back to work before midnight February 9, 2020, should strengthen monitoring of body temperature and health protection of their workers, report timely to the competent authorities, and make sure that everyone takes precautions. If possible, companies should allow workers to complete tasks at home, arrange their employees to be on duty via flexible means such as telephone and internet. Or companies can adopt flexible working hours to avoid concentrated flow of workers.
