On November 17, a parallel session of the 5th China-CEEC Capital Mayors Forum—the 2nd CEEC Non-Common Language Teaching Seminar was held.

As the organizer of this seminar and the initiator of the CEEC non-common language collaborative teaching group, Beijing International Studies University invited member universities of the group and teaching experts to jointly discuss with the University of Sarajevo about language education, language acquisition, language assessment, and innovation in teaching and practice in CEE countries, so as to further promote the quality of non-common language education and teaching. At the same time, it enhanced cooperation and exchanges between universities, explored new cooperation models, and promoted in-depth exchanges in culture, education and other fields between Beijing and cities in CEE countries.

The CEEC Non-Common Language Teaching Seminar is a parallel event under the framework of the China-CEEC Capital Mayors Forum. It is of great significance for implementing the Belt and Road Initiative, serving the functional positioning and development of Beijing as an international exchange center, and improving the development of non-common language disciplines and training of non-common language professionals.
