At the exhibition hall, To Lam visited three zones displaying Consumer IoT, City IoT, and Supply Chain IoT, gaining an in-depth understanding of the development of AI technology, as well as consumer electronic products and services such as facial recognition payment systems and cloud identity verification platforms. The practical applications of IoT technology in various scenarios, including schools, factories, office buildings, and industrial parks, demonstrate the significant role of AI-driven smart logistics products and services in enhancing the enterprise’s operational efficiency. To Lam also talked with corporate leaders to learn about talent recruitment and development, as well as data management.

Following the introduction by corporate leaders, To Lam commended Beijing’s high-tech industries as a significant driver of economic growth. He acknowledged China’s dedication to advancing sci-tech innovation, which has resulted in remarkable achievements over the past 40 years of reform and opening up. Vietnam will also rely on sci-tech innovation as a key driver to accelerate its economic and social development. In addition, he highlighted the crucial role of talent in sci-tech innovation. In recent years, China has seen over 10 million college graduates annually, representing a large and high-quality talent pool.

Yin Li emphasized Beijing’s rich education, sci-tech and talent resources, as well as dynamic sci-tech innovation. The rapid development of high-tech industries has had a significant impact on economic growth. He said that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the sister-city relationship between Beijing and Hanoi, and Beijing is committed to working with Vietnamese counterparts to implement the consensus  reached by the two leaders of the parties and states as well as the outcomes of their meetings. Beijing will further deepen sub-national cooperation and advance the friendship between the two cities, jointly contributing to the building of a China-Vietnam community with a shared future.
