On April 28, a delegation headed by Andy Schor, Mayor of Lansing, Michigan, USA, visited Haidian District and met with Yue Li, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Haidian District Committee and Executive Deputy District Mayor.

During the meeting, Yue extended a warm welcome to the delegation and updated them on the latest developments in Haidian District. The two sides had an in-depth discussion on their resource endowments, the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and the strengthening of practical cooperation.

Subsequently, as witnessed by leaders from both sides, two friendship agreements were signed respectively between the Branch of the High School Attached to Beijing Jiaotong University and Eastern High School, and between Shangdi Primary School of Tsinghua University High School and Post Oak Primary School, marking a milestone in the cooperation and sharing of educational resources.

In recent years, there has been close cooperation between Haidian District and Lansing. Moving forward, the two sides will work together to boost exchanges, facilitate resource sharing, and expand cooperation in education, technology, and development of SMEs, with the aim of forging closer and more comprehensive friendly relations.
