On January 17, a delegation led by Irene Pivetti, President of the Italy-China Friendship Association visited the new "Smart Purple Gold" service center at Dongcheng Park of Zhongguancun Science Park and conducted discussions with the administrative commission and enterprises of the park.

Irene Pivetti applauded Dongcheng District’s efforts in business environment building, industrial promotion, and cultural preservation. She expressed the willingness to facilitate new progress in cooperation between Chinese and Italian companies in fields such as digital protection of cultural relics, art exhibitions, and art exchanges. Shi Chongyuan, Director of the Administrative Commission of Dongcheng Park, expressed hope for the two sides to enhance mutual trust and friendship through joint contribution, shared benefits, and win-win cooperation, so as to contribute to new gains in friendly cooperation and closer relations between China and Italy. Enterprises from both sides also exchanged views on technology, park development, and international trade cooperation.

After the discussion, the delegation made a field visit to office buildings and commercial projects in the Xinda Center.
