Pinggu District:
Business delegation of LMC six countries visited High-Tech Agricultural Z-Park
On January 11, a business delegation consisting of 28 enterprises and organizations from six countries involved in Lancang-Mekong Cooperation (LMC) visited the High-Tech Agricultural Z-Park to learn about the agricultural sci-tech innovation and the development of the High-Tech Agricultural Z-Park in Pinggu District. The delegation included representatives from the General Directorate of Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce of Kingdom of Cambodia; Department of Trade Promotion of Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Lao People's Democratic Republic; Myanmar Avocado Producer and Exporter Association; National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC), Thailand; and the Vietnam Production and Import-Export Co., Ltd.
The purpose of the visit was to promote interaction and exchanges among enterprises, and facilitate agricultural investment and trade. The delegation showed substantial interest in the vegetable protein fibration technology at Xmeats (Beijing) and gained a deep understanding of the technology innovation and platform development of biological seeds at the Shounong Seed Technology Exhibition Hall. Subsequently, they made field visits to Jingwa Fruit Industry Demonstration Park and Jingwa Greenhouse Horticulture Demonstration Park. The delegation expressed that through this activity, they acquired cutting-edge information and shared innovation and practices in green food processing technology, products, and sustainable business models. They believe that this will contribute to further bilateral investment and cooperation.
Haidian District:
Mongolian Democratic Party delegation experienced smart agriculture
On January 23, a delegation led by Gantumur, Chairman of the Mongolian Democratic Party, visited the Smart Agriculture Experience Center of Dongsheng Sub-park of Zhongguancun Science Park. They learned about the advancements in modern agricultural technology and experienced the integration of agriculture and modern technology.
The delegation members were impressed by the agricultural technology showcased on-site, such as automatic control, intelligent management, and remote monitoring. The water purification circulation system and the hydroponic irrigation system could provide valuable insights, as Gantumur noted. He also expressed the willingness to further exchanges and cooperation between the two sides, thereby advancing high-level agricultural development.
Chaoyang District:
Djibouti National Assembly delegation studied local practices of whole-process people's democracy
On January 23, Dileita, President of the Djibouti National Assembly, led a delegation to visit Chaoyang District and studied the local practices and experiences of whole-process people's democracy.
The delegation visited the Nanmofang Office of Deputies to the People's Congress and held discussions with the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress to gain a comprehensive understanding of relevant work and typical cases in Chaoyang District. They provided an overview of the political party system, National Assembly system, and the Assembly’s connection with the people of Djibouti. Dileita expressed a desire to further exchanges, share experiences and enhance friendship between the two peoples.
