Recently, Yang Bo, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Fangshan District Committee and District Mayor, led a delegation to visit Beaune, Côte-d'Or, Burgundy, France and signed a memorandum on friendly exchanges with Alain Suguenot, Mayor of Beaune. The two sides agreed to establish a communication mechanism and conduct friendly exchanges in a wide range of fields including economy, trade, culture, tourism, and agriculture, with a focus on cooperation in the wine industry.

Located in eastern France, Beaune is the core area of the Burgundy wine region.  As one of the oldest and most important wine trading centers in the world, the city is known as the wine capital of Burgundy.
