Recently, at the invitation of the National Medical Research Center of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, a delegation from the Beijing Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine visited Moscow for exchanges on traditional medicine. Institutions including Capital Medical University, Beijing Xiaotangshan Hospital, China Beijing Tong Ren Tang Group Co., Ltd. participated in relevant activities.

The delegation visited the Yudino Rehabilitation and Sanatorium Center, a branch of the National Medical Research Center of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, where they gained an in-depth understanding of Russia’s distinctive therapies and service system in rehabilitation and convalescence. The two sides held the 2026 China-Russia Conference on Traditional Medicine Exchange and Cooperation and signed the Framework Agreement on Traditional Medicine Cooperation Between the Beijing Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the National Medical Research Center of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. Cooperation agreements were also signed between the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Capital Medical University and the Institute of Medicine of RUDN University, between Beijing Xiaotangshan Hospital and Moscow City Clinical Hospital No. 15, and between Beijing Tong Ren Tang Group and Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University.

In recent years, exchanges and cooperation between Beijing and its sister city Moscow have continued to deepen, with collaboration in health and medical services reaching new heights. This has laid a solid foundation for deeper partnership between China and Russia in traditional medicine.
