Eduardo Paes, Mayor of Rio de Janeiro, sent a congratulatory letter on the successful holding of “Love Beijing”. He spoke highly of the fruitful achievements made by Rio de Janeiro and Beijing in culture, education, and other fields over the past 40 years since the two cities established a sister-city relationship, and expressed the hope that the event would serve as an opportunity to further deepen the sister-city relationship between the two cities.

Rio2C is one of the most influential events for creativity, technology, and innovation in Latin America, during which “Love Beijing” presented a selection of high-quality TV dramas, such as To the Wonder, All Rise, Flourished Peony, and Six Sisters. This enabled Brazilian audiences to experience the diverse charm of Beijing and see a vivid and multi-dimensional China through the screen.

It is learned that “Love Beijing” has been included in the event program for the 2026 China-Brazil Cultural Year.
