A Lantern Festival Gala was held on the evening of February 23 by the Thai-Chinese Culture Union and the Thai Alumni Association of China’s Universities. Korn Dabbaransi, the former Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand and President of the Thai-Chinese Friendship Association, delivered a speech emphasizing the friendly relations between Thailand and China as neighboring countries. He further emphasized that this bond will endure as the idea that China and Thailand are one family has been deeply rooted in the two peoples.
Korn Dabbaransi has expressed his admiration for Chinese culture. The Thai-Chinese Friendship Association is dedicated to promoting economic and cultural exchanges, as well as friendly relations, between the two countries. Next year, celebrations will be held to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of both the Thai-Chinese diplomatic relations and the Association. Thailand and China are close neighbors with friendly relations, and this bond will endure as the idea that China and Thailand are one family is deeply rooted in the hearts of both peoples.
