On August 17, the 2020 International Youth Online Summer Program, themed “Future Leader, Youth Ambassador” was concluded with a successful experience sharing session.

Sponsored by Beijing Municipal Committee of Communist Youth League of China, Foreign Affairs Office of Beijing Municipal Government and Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, this year's Summer Program was opened on August 5 in Beijing. Chinese and foreign students from Beijing Institute of Technology, Central University of Finance and Economics, University of International Business and Economics, Communication University of China, Beijing University of Technology, Beijing International Studies University, North China University of Technology and Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and young employees from BAIC Group attended the event. Young people from 34 countries engaged in the seven-day program, discussing such topics as “public emergency response system for COVID-19”, “resumption of work and production in the context of regular epidemic prevention and control”, “waste sorting in the right way”, “analysis of youth psychological health in the COVID-19 epidemic” and “building cultural ties to promote Beijing's role as the international exchange center”. They have contributed wisdom to global governance, green development and the development of Beijing as the international exchange center.
