The 13th Austrian Winter Sports Days: Conference & Ski Race was recently held at the Xiaohaituo National Alpine Ski Center in Yanqing, Beijing. Over 200 winter sports professionals and government representatives from China and Austria engaged in in-depth exchanges.

During the Conference, Chinese and Austrian guests held discussions on two themes: “From Equipment Innovation to Resort Ecosystems: Unlocking the Potential in Northern and Southern China’s Ice-Snow Industry through Sino-Austrian Partnership” and “Riding the Winter Wave: How Austria Can Tap China’s Snow-Sports Boom - and What China Can Learn from Austria’s Lasting Winter Olympic Legacy”.

Around 80 athletes from Austria, China, Italy, and other countries participated in the Ski Race, showcasing their skills on the very same course used for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.
