On the afternoon of December 18, a 16-member Egyptian business delegation visited the Beijing Subway Line 10 Youth Entrepreneurship Village in Yuquanying Subdistrict, Fengtai District, to learn about youth innovation and entrepreneurship in the area. Yang Song, Deputy Director of the China Economic Cooperation Center of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, and Lin Yanhong, Vice Mayor of Fengtai District, were in attendance.
The delegation visited the Exhibition Center, the Jijiamiao Innovation and Entrepreneurship Industrial Park, and the Line 10 Park. They also held discussions on innovation and entrepreneurship, SME development, and industrial cooperation. Vice Mayor Lin Yanhong provided a detailed introduction of Fengtai District’s history and culture as well as its economic and social development, expressing hope for further comprehensive exchanges and cooperation with the Egyptian business community.
Hazem Hamada, Chief of Protocol of Egypt’s Homeland Defenders Party and head of the delegation, expressed his gratitude for Fengtai District’s warm reception and meticulous arrangements. He highlighted the vast potential for cooperation between Egypt and China and welcomed Chinese tourists to visit Egypt. He also expressed hope that both sides could further identify their cooperation intentions and advance project implementation as soon as possible.
Beijing Subway Line 10 Youth Entrepreneurship Village, located in Fengtai District’s Yuquanying Subdistrict, is designed for young innovators and entrepreneurs. Through the “urban renewal plus industrial revitalization” model, it integrates multiple parks—including Jijiamiao Innovation and Entrepreneurship Industrial Park, Line 10 Park, Huaxiang Youth Science and Technology Park, and Tianheng Sports & Culture Park—into a competitive ecosystem for youth innovation and entrepreneurship. During the discussion session, key companies in the district, such as Beijing Future Secure Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Feiniao Zhihang Low-Altitude Technology Co., Ltd., and Beijing Zhongrunfa Zongxing Automobile Sales Co., Ltd., gave roadshow presentations.
