On July 16, a handover ceremony was held in Yangon for the negative pressure ambulances donated by BAIC Group and BAIC Foton to the Ministry of Health and Sports of Myanmar. The event was attended by Dr. Zaw Than Htun, Director-General of Medical Research Department at the Ministry of Health and Sports of Myanmar, and Tan Shufu, Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar.

As professional equipment for pandemic response, the two negative pressure ambulances delivered by Foton will be handed over to the Yangon Medical Research Center for emergency medical transfer and rescue of patients during the pandemic. This donation fills Myanmar’s void in negative pressure ambulances.
