At the beginning of the new year, when everything takes on a fresh appearance, many people travel abroad for the New Year holidays. Acting on the philosophy of foreign affairs for the people, the Beijing Foreign Affairs Office continues to organize the “Consular Protection for All” event series. The aim is to promptly address the diverse needs of businesses, parks, and overseas education agencies, while also delivering New Year’s “service packages on consular protection”.

I. Into Enterprises

The BBMG Longshuncheng Cultural and Creative Industry Park is focused on preserving century-old intangible cultural heritage and serves as a hub for cultural industries with diverse business forms. Nearly 40 enterprises from the park are expanding their business globally, engaging in extensive overseas business and international exchanges and cooperation. These enterprises are highly concerned about how to deal with overseas safety risks. Thus, international legal experts were invited to analyze the current safety risks and provide solutions for enterprises venturing abroad, ensuring safe and secure development overseas.

The Zhongguancun International Talents Service Area offers one-stop services to international talents and students studying abroad. At the event, consular experts provided guidance to relevant personnel on how to avoid risks during emergencies in foreign countries, in accordance with the Regulation of the People’s Republic of China on Consular Protection and Assistance and the latest edition of the Guide to China's Consular Protection and Assistance in China. This initiative aims to effectively implement the Regulation and produce tangible results.

Its services cover study abroad consulting, short-term overseas experience camps, and entrepreneurial support. With a focus on "Safe Study Abroad" pre-departure safety education, international education experts utilized real-life cases to enhance the awareness and capabilities of the staff and students who are about to go abroad, including personal safety, mental health, and risk prevention.
