The fourth session of the 16th Beijing Municipal People’s Congress and the fourth session of the 14th Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) are set to commence on January 25 and January 24, 2026, respectively.

A media center will be established to support journalists from home and abroad in covering the two sessions. Journalists who wish to report on the events may submit their applications in accordance with the following arrangements: if you are a journalist from central or municipal news agencies, please submit your application to the media center; if you are a journalist from Hong Kong or Macao Special Administrative Region, please submit your application to the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality; if you are a journalist from Taiwan, please submit your application to the Taiwan Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality; and if you are a foreign journalist stationed in Beijing, please submit your application to the Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality. Kindly note that the deadline for submitting applications is January 16th. We welcome journalists from home and abroad to cover Beijing’s two sessions.
