Recently, the “Future Leader, Youth Ambassador” International Youth Social Practice Summer Camp was successfully held in Beijing and Guizhou, bringing together more than 100 Chinese and international university students from 39 countries.

Themed “Youth Development and Industrial System Modernization”, the camp was co-hosted by the Beijing Municipal Committee of Communist Youth League of China, Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality, Beijing People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and Guizhou Provincial Committee of Communist Youth League of China. Participants engaged in in-depth field studies on topics such as how new quality factors drive emerging industries and how cultural tourism promotes rural revitalization.

This year’s summer camp coincided with the convening of the World Youth Conference for Peace. At the achievement sharing session held at Beijing Youth Palace, students shared that the camp provided a valuable platform for mutual learning and exchange of experience between Chinese and international youth. Through in-depth research, they not only shared ideas and built friendships, but also gained a deeper understanding of Chinese modernization. They emphasized their commitment to putting into practice the guiding principles of President Xi Jinping’s congratulatory letter to the World Youth Conference for Peace, and to contributing their wisdom and strength to building a community with a shared future for humanity.

Since its launch in 2014, the “Future Leader, Youth Ambassador” International Youth Social Practice Summer Camp has been held 11 times, attracting more than 500 outstanding international students from over 70 countries.
