At 10:30 on June 23, Singapore’s Prime Minister Lawrence Wong visited the exhibition hall of Beijing World of Robots.

Swimming leisurely in the fish tank was a golden arowana bionic robot developed by Boya Gongdao, a company from Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area. Upon seeing it, Wong exclaimed in admiration, “Very real!”

The nearby display featured robotic insects developed by a research team from Beihang University. These robots are capable of collecting visual data and images in confined or dark spaces such as pipelines and tires and transmitting them back in real time for tunnel monitoring and preliminary surveys.
