On April 30, the World Cities Culture Forum (WCCF) officially announced on its website that Beijing had joined its global network.

In November 2024, Beijing and WCCF signed the City Partnership Agreement in London, UK. Since then, relevant departments in Beijing have maintained close communication with WCCF and actively promoted the city’s rich cultural resources. Beijing’s cultural vitality has been highly recognized by the WCCF.

Moving forward, Beijing will actively participate in multilateral international exchange initiatives such as the World Cities Culture Summit and the Leadership Exchange Programme. Through such platforms, Beijing will showcase its achievements in cultural preservation, innovative development, and cultural heritage protection, so as to foster greater international cooperation and enhance its global cultural influence.
