EU Businesses Explore Haidian
The “EU Businesses Explore Haidian” event was held at the Zhongguancun International Innovation Center on February 28.
At the event, over 90 representatives of globally renowned EU enterprises and invited enterprises from Haidian District gathered together. They had in-depth discussions on topics such as global and Chinese economic trends, the evolving landscape of foreign investment in China, and the expectations of foreign-funded enterprises for China’s business environment, jointly navigating the new circumstances and exploring new opportunities.
Fengtai District:
A Uzbekistan Delegation Visits Xincun Subdistrict
On February 24, Ozoda Jurayeva, Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Uzbekistan, led a delegation to visit Xincun Subdistrict in Fengtai District to share experience on community governance.
At the Comprehensive Cultural Center in Liumengjiayuan Community, the foreign delegation engaged in detailed discussions with staff regarding the center’s operational model, functional zoning, and community participation. In Yihai Garden Community, they learned about emergency property management and the intelligent operations of the heating center, and observed the smart recycling process. The Uzbekistan delegation commended Fengtai District’s community governance and expressed their willingness to learn from its innovative governance model that integrates technology and culture.
Tongzhou District:
A Delegation from the African Union of Broadcasting Visits the Tongzhou Media Convergence Center
Recently, a delegation from the African Union of Broadcasting (AUB) visited the Tongzhou Media Convergence Center to exchange ideas on integrated media development, content resource sharing, and joint media training.
In the radio station’s live broadcast room, Grégoire Ndjaka, Chief Executive Officer of AUB, experienced news broadcasting firsthand. He remarked, “The environment of the live broadcast room in the media convergence center is excellent, and the equipment is very advanced. I’m honored to experience news broadcasting here.” At the central kitchen of the district’s converged media center, the delegation gained a detailed understanding of the center’s news gathering and editing processes, as well as its achievements in integrated development across various platforms.
The foreign guests expressed their willingness to deepen cooperation and exchanges with the Tongzhou Convergence Media Center in the future, aiming to disseminate the outcomes of these exchanges to more African media outlets. “I hope to have more opportunities to visit the vibrant Tongzhou District again and witness its further development,” said Grégoire Ndjaka.
