Chaoyang District: One handbook for a worry-free experience

The English version of the Visitor Guide to Chaoyang District, meticulously crafted by Chaoyang District, covers essential daily needs such as food, accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, shopping, entertainment, children’s education, and healthcare. With comprehensive guidance for foreign nationals living in the area, this handbook greatly improves their experience and quality of life.

Haidian District: Professional staff provide multilingual services

Focusing on investment promotion, Haidian District has prepared both English and Chinese versions of the Guidelines for Foreign Investment in Haidian District, and investment promotion brochures for “two zones”. It stepped up promoting A Guide to Working and Living in China as Business Expatriates (2024 Edition) and Support Policy Packages for Investment Attraction in Beijing, providing comprehensive policy guidance for foreign-funded companies looking to invest and start a business in Beijing. Xicheng District: Facilitating foreign currency payment

Xicheng District has prioritized facilitating foreign currency payment by intensifying foreign language training for service personnel, promoting optimized bilingual payment services both online and offline, and building two demonstration zones of barrier-free payment services with comprehensive functions in the core area of the Financial Street and Beijing Fun commercial area.

Dongcheng District: Offering foreign-language navigation along the Beijing Central Axis

Dongcheng District carried out a comprehensive survey of key areas including the Forbidden City, and the Bell and Drum Towers, as well as historical and cultural blocks along the Central Axis like South Luoguo Lane (Nanluoguxiang). The district set up English and Chinese exhibitions at the Bell and Drum Towers, the north starting point of the Central Axis, and the Yongdingmen Gate Tower, the southernmost end of the Central Axis, offering foreign visitors more accurate, convenient and user-friendly navigation services along the Central Axis with a clear and standardized signage system.
