Recently, the China-Arab Cultural Exchange of the Traditional Chinese Medicine (T/CM) Series Activities in Chaoyang District’s Liangma Riverside International Economic Belt opened.
The exchange activity was jointly organized by Beijing Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Chaoyang District Government. It was announced on the event that three organizations, including Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Chaoyang District, Maizidian Community Health Service Center, and Beijing International Consultation Center with Combined Use of TCM and Western Medicine, would launch TCM International Service Demonstration Bases. During the event, certificates were presented to nearly 30 TCM culture communicators from countries and regions engaged in the Belt and Road cooperation.
Rich and diverse China-Arab cultural exchanges were held. Students from the Arab countries recited Song of the 24 Solar Terms, shared poems and proverbs, and performed Tai Chi together with their Chinese friends. The event also featured classic music and dance performances from both Chinese and Arab cultures, providing guests and audiences with a unique opportunity to appreciate the beauty of cultural integration.
Hussam Al Husseini, Ambassador of Jordan to China, expressed his hope to take this event as an opportunity to facilitate more exchanges and cooperation between the Chinese and Arab traditional medicine.
Dalia, a student from Egypt, said she wanted to bring Chinese culture back to her homeland, helping more people in Egypt to understand and love China.
