From May 24 to 26, the 2024 Desafío China by La Vuelta - Beijing Changping was successfully held. Nearly 2,600 cyclists from 28 countries and regions gathered in Beijing, enjoying the charm of cycling amidst the lush green mountains and clear waters.

As one of the world’s top three cycling races, La Vuelta holds significant international influence. This year marks the second Desafío China by La Vuelta - Beijing Changping, which has joined the ranks of Class C international events held in China. This year’s edition continued its theme of “Cycling and Encounters” and consisted of criterium, team time trial, family fun ride, and road race, catering to cycling enthusiasts’ diverse preferences for various road types.

The event also attracted over ten Spanish exhibitors and more than twenty Spanish brands, and featured professional Flamenco performances, showcasing the rich Spanish culture to the spectators.
