The Foreign Affairs Office of Chaoyang District in Beijing and 37 other local departments have been awarded as among the first group of “Outstanding Departments of Foreign Affairs Related Work”. The candidates were recommended by provincial and sub-provincial foreign affairs offices and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, and selected after being reviewed twice by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

The award “Outstanding Departments of Foreign Affairs Related Work” is a provincial-level honor granted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and was first established in 2020. It is the greatest honor for foreign affairs related departments. The award is granted to primary-level and frontline teams in this field every five years to no more than 40 winners each time.
