On September 27, Yin Li, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee held talks with Dinh Tien Dung, a member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam and secretary of the Hanoi Municipal Communist Party of Vietnam Committee.

Yin said that China and Vietnam are good comrades and partners with shared visions and future, and the strategic leadership of the general secretaries of the two parties is the strongest guarantee for the stability and progress of the bilateral relations. It is hoped that the two sides will take this meeting as an opportunity to jointly implement the consensus reached by the general secretaries of the two parties, deepen exchanges and cooperation between the two capitals, and promote the building of a China-Vietnam community with a shared future.

Dinh said Vietnam hopes to intensify inter-party exchanges and sub-national cooperation with China, thus elevating Vietnam-China relations to a new height.

The two sides also signed documents on cooperation between Beijing and Hanoi.
