On the morning of July 22, representatives of Haidian District, upon the invitation of the International Department of CPC Central Committee, attended the online seminar between CPC and Uruguay Broad Front via video link, and exchanged experience with the Uruguayan side on epidemic prevention and control and work and production resumption. Zhu Rui, Assistant Minister of the International Department of CPC Central Committee, attended the seminar. Other participants included Deputy Secretary of CPC Haidian District Committee and district head Zeng Jing, Director of the 5th Bureau of the International Department of CPC Central Committee Wang Yulin, and more than 60 leaders of Uruguay Broad Front and local representatives, including President of the Broad Front Javier Miranda and Secretary-general Kanasa of Montevideo, capital of Uruguay.

In face of the COVID-19 epidemic, Haidian District, under the firm leadership of CPC, gave full play to grassroots Party organizations' exemplary role and strove to secure the victory in both epidemic containment and economic and social development. At the seminar, the participants watched a video about Haidian District's work on curbing the virus transmission and resuming work and production, in which Secretary of CPC Haidian Committee Yu Jun introduced the regular prevention and control measures and the Party's leadership in fighting the epidemic.

Uruguay has also made sound progress in fighting the coronavirus and is trying to resume work and production. Secretary-general Kanasa and former Governor of Canelones Olssi introduced their experience and measures.

During the Q&A section, Zeng Jing answered questions raised by the Uruguayan side, and leaders of relevant departments, representatives of communities and enterprises also exchanged views with the Uruguayan participants about community response, application of technologies in the anti-epidemic fight, work and production resumption, e-shopping, and public transit.
