On March 26, 2026, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and Messe Berlin (China) announced plans to further expand their strategic partnership in the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) sector. As a landmark outcome of this collaboration, Beijing has been selected as the host city for the inaugural China International MICE Exchange (CIMX), scheduled to take place in the capital from November 3 to 5, 2026.

At the event, Beijing will stage a dedicated “Beijing MICE Pavilion”, bringing together a number of major local MICE institutions and key industry players. Centered on the city’s distinctive modern urban landscape and rich historical and cultural heritage, the pavilion will create fresh business opportunities for international meeting planners, corporate clients and service providers.

Tailored for the global MICE sector, the CIMX is expected to attract over 200 domestic and international exhibitors, more than 350 hosted buyers and over 5,000 professional visitors. A series of structured business matchmaking sessions and networking activities will also be organized during the event.
