Recently, Nguyen Duc Hien, Deputy Head of the Policy and Strategy Department of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee, led a delegation to China. During their visit, the delegation toured Tsinghua Science Park in Haidian District and held in-depth discussions with TusHoldings, the park’s operator, on topics such as technology industry investment, commercialization, and international cooperation.

During the discussions, representatives of TusHoldings provided a comprehensive overview of the company’s development practices and collaboration potential. They reviewed the company’s history and highlighted its extensive experience in technology commercialization, business incubation, and industrial cultivation. They also shared the latest achievements in its cooperation with Vietnam National University, Hanoi—including joint initiatives in talent development and scientific research—laying the groundwork for coordinated engagement between universities and enterprises in both countries. Focusing on its core strengths, TusHoldings also outlined its presence in strategic emerging industries such as environmental protection, new energies, digital economy, comprehensive health care services, and new materials. Through an integrated model combining incubation, investment, mergers and acquisitions, and partnerships, the company has built an ecosystem across the entire industrial chain. As for international cooperation, it has developed mature approaches such as “Two Countries, Twin Parks” and cross-border collaboration, offering end-to-end services from park construction and operations to industrial resource integration.

Nguyen Duc Hien spoke highly of TusHoldings’ development model and achievements. He noted that the company’s innovative practices in technology investment, commercialization, and startup incubation stand out in the field. Its business focus and cooperation model align closely with the strategic direction and guiding principles for deepening collaboration between the two Parties and the two countries. These practices offer valuable insights for Vietnam’s efforts to upgrade its technology industries and foster an innovation ecosystem. In the future, efforts will be made to advance substantive cooperation between the two sides in areas such as science park development, industrial matchmaking, and talent cultivation. Nguyen Duc Hien further emphasized that the visit had yielded fruitful outcomes. Upon returning to Vietnam, he will include the successful practices of Tsinghua Science Park and TusHoldings in a dedicated policy report. He hopes to introduce to Vietnam the collaborative park management model involving government, universities, and enterprises, thereby building a policy communication bridge for advancing deeper China–Vietnam cooperation in the future.
