China and South Korea are very close to each other in terms of geographical location and ancestral ties. This year marks the 30th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties. To further promote friendly exchanges between the two countries, the China-ROK College Student Forum, hosted by Beijing International Studies University (BISU) and Busan University of Foreign Studies (BUFS) and supported by Beijing Foreign Affairs Office and Busan City Hall, kicked off online on November 16, 2022. The forum was identified as a project under the framework of the Year of China-South Korea Cultural Exchange sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the two countries.

It was agreed that students' wonderful speeches and discussions would contribute to wider communication between the youth of the two countries, as they were both practical and relevant, and embodied the young people's vigor and sense of responsibility.
