Virginia Raggi, Mayor of Rome, recently expressed her appreciation for Beijing's donations of anti-epidemic supplies on the website of the Rome city government.

Enumerating the types and quantities of the donations from Beijing on the city government's official website, Mayor Raggi hailed Beijing's help as a symbol of friendship between the two capital cities and said they would dispatch the materials to frontline health care workers as soon as possible.

The supplies donated by Beijing to some international sister cities have successively arrived at their destinations in late April. City leaders sent letters of gratitude, saying that the materials would play a significant role in epidemic prevention and control and in reopening of businesses.
