I am very delighted to be in China and to visit the Great Wall today. The Great Wall embodies the strong will to resist foreign invaders and demonstrates the ability to maintain long-term peace and stability. The Badaling Great Wall, which I visited today, is a truly versatile structure as it can be used for not only storing weapons but also providing supplies such as drinking water and food for soldiers. The Great Wall truly lives up to its name. I sincerely thank China for this trip.

Kais Saied

President of the Republic of Tunisia
