On July 15 and 16, a group of young Cuban diplomats visited the Pinggu District to study rural revitalization at the invitation of the Central School of Communist Youth League of China.

Cuban diplomats visited Jingwa Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Center, Yukou Poultry, Damiaoyu Village of Zhenluoying Town, Weilai Orchard in Xiying Village of Yukou Town, and Beijing CP Egg Industry. Through this visit, they had a better understanding of rural revitalization efforts in Pinggu District.

Zhao Wenkan, Deputy Mayor of Pinggu District briefed the diplomats on the economic and social development and rural revitalization of the District, and shared the District's experience in rural governance. He expected to deepen friendships and boost exchanges and cooperation between the two countries through this activity.

A Second Secretary of the Cuban Embassy in China introduced Cuban agricultural and rural development, and described this event as a tangible manifestation of Sino-Cuban friendship, expecting further exchanges and more results in the future.
