The 3rd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF) took place in Beijing from October 17 to 18, with about 4,000 domestic and international journalists participating in media coverage.
Spring is a season of blossoming, and autumn is a time of harvest. Over the past decade since the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) was proposed, new visions for global development and governance have been translated into practice in countries along the Belt and Road. The news channel of All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company paid special attention to the eight major steps that China will take to support the joint pursuit of high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, as well as fruitful results achieved during this year’s BRF.
The news channel reported President Xi Jinping’s announcement of cooperation agreements worth USD 97.2 billion signed at the CEO Conference held during the BRF, as well as China's plan to reach free trade arrangements and investment protection agreements with more countries.

Levente Horvath, Editor-in-Chief of Hungary’s Eurasia magazine, wrote that the BRI, which was put forward by President Xi Jinping in 2013, has yielded fruitful results over the past decade. An increasing number of countries have joined the BRI, and many prefer not to take sides but rather to participate in Belt and Road cooperation. The BRI represents China’s approach to the establishment of a new multipolar world order.

Indonesian mainstream media reported the speech given by Indonesian President Joko Widodo at the opening ceremony of the 3rd BRF. He mentioned that the Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Railway, a landmark project of Belt and Road cooperation between Indonesia and China, recently commenced operations. It is expected that more Indonesian development plans will be aligned with Belt and Road cooperation.
Indonesian President Joko Widodo said that the Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Railway, a part of the BRI cooperation, officially began operation in recent days. He hoped that the country’s plans for the new capital development, energy transition, and industrial revitalization can be aligned with the BRI. He also expressed gratitude to the Chinese government for supporting developing countries through the Initiative.

Thailand's mainstream media Daily News reported that Belt and Road international cooperation has injected new vitality into global economic growth. The achievements of Belt and Road cooperation are based on win-win cooperation between China and other Belt and Road partners.
Thairath Media Group, on its official website, emphasized that this year’s forum has further elevated the significance of the BRI, highlighting its role in promoting world peace.
According to Khao Sod, another Thai news outlet, Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin highly praised the achievements of the BRI over the past decade. The BRI’s emphasis on interconnectivity has effectively promoted economic growth and improved people's living standards. This year’s BRF will promote closer international cooperation.
