On June 26, participants in a short-term training program for media professionals from 19 neighboring Asian countries visited Fengtai District for an immersive trip to the Villagers’ Committee of Caoqiao Village, the Beijing Flower Trading Center, Zhaohua Pavilion, and other sites to learn about local practices of primary-level governance and rural revitalization, as well as Fengtai’s distinctive flower industry as the “Home of Flowers.”

The foreign delegation visited the Caoqiao Village History Museum and Ruzhuo Garden, a pocket park, to learn about Caoqiao Village’s development history, primary-level governance model, and practices in rural revitalization. Through the visit, they witnessed firsthand the vitality of rural development in the new era.

At the Beijing Flower Trading Center and Zhaohua Pavilion, the delegation observed a variety of premium green plants and fresh-cut flowers, and were briefed on the development of the floral industry and floral culture. This experience left them deeply impressed by Fengtai’s rich floral heritage and the achievements of its distinctive floral industry.
