The publication covers key topics including studying, traveling and working abroad, preventing telecom scams and online fraud, and avoiding risks associated with violent and terrorist activities. It serves as a readily accessible, practical, and user-friendly safety guide for people traveling abroad. Beijing Foreign Affairs Office will work with all districts and relevant authorities to promote its distribution and use.

During the campaign, the Beijing Foreign Affairs Office organized multi-channel, scenario-tailored activities at Peking University, the Capital Normal University High School, and Horwath Cultural and Creative Park. Focusing on common overseas safety risks of public concern such as lost passports, theft, robbery, and overseas telecom fraud, the activities provided clear guidance on response measures and handling procedures, aiming to enhance public awareness of overseas safety and reduce potential risks during overseas travel. As part of the activities, experts and industry representatives from the fields of overseas safety, cultural and travel services, and legal practice were invited to conduct thematic exchange and sharing sessions on consular protection. Based on the realities of their respective sectors, they shared practical, effective work experience and offered constructive suggestions to strengthen public awareness of overseas safety and enhance the effectiveness of consular protection public education.
