On October 22, the “Beijing Pavilion” officially opened at the 30th Macao International Trade & Investment Fair (30th MIF), with the “Beijing Day” event held concurrently.

The “Beijing Pavilion”, featuring China red as the main color, showcases Beijing’s unique charm as a city that blends both classical and modern elements and embodies both tradition and openness. The pavilion comprises a central exhibition area, a cultural and creative products section, a health section, a Daxing District section, and an enterprise section. Through exhibitions, interactive experiences, and live performances, it highlights Beijing’s achievements in high-quality development and high-standard opening up, while showcasing the fruitful outcomes achieved in Beijing-Macao cooperation across 12 key areas since the first Beijing-Macao Cooperation Conference.

During the “Beijing Day” activity, special promotions were made on Beijing’s traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) industry and Daxing District, with live presentations from Beijing enterprises. Guests jointly witnessed the signing of cooperation agreements in the field of TCM between Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Macau University of Science and Technology, and relevant enterprises.

The event marks the 16th consecutive year of Beijing’s participation in the MIF. Under the framework of the Beijing-Macao Cooperation Conference, Beijing will continue to leverage this platform to advance pragmatic cooperation in key sectors, expand exchanges with Portuguese-speaking countries and other regions around the world. The aim is to promote joint high-quality development between Beijing and Macao, and support Macao’s deeper integration into the overall national development.
