President Sassou has visited China 17 times, including attending the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF) and the 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC). President Vucic has visited China many times and said that China is Serbia’s most precious friend, as China always offers selfless support and assistance to help Serbia develop its economy and improve the well-being of its people. Serbia is an important partner of China in Europe and one of the first European countries to respond to, participate in, and promote the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). In 2024, the two heads of state signed a joint statement on building a China-Serbia community with a shared future in the new era, opening up a new chapter for the bilateral relations.

Prior to this, at the invitation of China, President Pezeshkian had attended the SCO Summit held in Tianjin. This marked his first visit to China sincehis election as the President of Iran in July last year. Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico Arrives in Beijing for China’s V-Day Commemorations

In November last year, Robert Fico made an official visit to China and attended the Slovakia-China Business Forum. Slovakia is an important hub onthe China-Europe freight train network. Prior to this, at the invitation of China, President Aliyev had attended the SCO Summit held in Tianjin.
China and Azerbaijan established diplomatic relations on April 2, 1992, and the bilateral relations have enjoyed sound developmentsince then. In April this year, the two countries elevated their ties to a comprehensive strategic partnership. On July 16, a mutual visa exemption agreement between China and Azerbaijan came into effect, further facilitating economic and trade cooperation, tourism, and cultural exchanges between the two countries.

This afternoon (September 2), National Assembly Speaker of the ROK Woo Won-shik arrived at Beijing Capital International Airport to attend the events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.

In February this year, Woo attended the opening ceremony of the 9th Asian Winter Games held in Harbin. He said that ROK-China cooperation has played an important role in the respective development of the two countries. Friendship with China is and will always be one of the core tenets of the country’s foreign policy. China is the ROK’s largest trading partner, largest export market, and largest source of imports.
General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party Central Committee and Lao President Thongloun Sisoulith Arrives in Beijing for China’s V-Day Commemorations

This evening (September 2), Thongloun Sisoulith, General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party Central Committee and Lao President, arrived at Beijing Capital International Airport to attend the events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.
Thongloun has visited China many times, including a state visit in 2022 and attendance at the Third BRF in 2023, during which he also conducted a working visit.
China and Laos are friendly socialist neighbors sharing the same future. In December 2021, the China-Laos Railway was officially completed and opened to traffic, becoming a flagship project of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries and a landmark initiative in promotinghigh-quality Belt and Road cooperation.
