The event was co-hosted by the Beijing Women’s Federation, the Office of Foreign Affairs Committee of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and the Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality, and the Beijing NGO Association for International Exchanges. Under the theme “Blossoming the Families’ Dream Together, Painting the Global Village Together”, the event featured diverse activities including gardening workshops, intangible cultural heritage crafts, fun competitions, exhibitions on women and children’s activity platforms, and flower-viewing tours. More than 200 participants from over ten countries—including Sri Lanka, Nepal, Belgium, Spain, Mexico, Germany, and Indonesia—attended the celebration.

Using flowers as a medium for cultural exchange, Chinese and foreign families worked together to create floral art, experience traditional crafts like flower rubbing and paper-flower folding, and engage in interactive games such as Friendship Wreath Relay and Pass the Flower. Through such diverse activities, the families have fostered stronger friendships that transcended national and linguistic boundaries.

The event also included themed quizzes on family culture and child-friendly cities, promoting harmonious family values and advancing a shared commitment to ecological conservation.
