The 6th CRIEC International Entrepreneurship Acceleration Camp Activity Held in Chaoyang District

On October 30, the 6th China-Russia Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (CRIEC) “Welcome to Chaoyang Beijing” International Entrepreneurship Acceleration Camp Activity was held at the China World Trade Center Phase III. The event was co-hosted by the Beijing International Exchange Association (BIEA), Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) Science Park, and the Beijing Chaoyang District Enterprise Confederation (BJCYDEC). Nine Russian enterprise teams that made it to the 6th CRIEC finals engaged in discussions with over 60 Chinese enterprises and investment institutions for potential future collaborations.

The acceleration camp activity leveraged the diverse industrial and international resources of Chaoyang District to facilitate exchanges between Chinese and Russian innovators and entrepreneurs. Experts from the CICC Global Institute (CGI) and Yingke Law Firm provided insightful presentations on topics such as the development of China’s private equity market and the background and implications of new quality productive forces.

Networking

The nine Russian enterprise teams conducted roadshows in three fields of civil aerospace technology, biotechnology, and new material technology. Representatives from Chinese and Russian enterprises and institutions engaged in a networking session. Alina Chernova, a young Russian entrepreneur, highlighted her significant gains from the acceleration camp activity. She was deeply impressed by Beijing’s favorable environment for innovation and entrepreneurship and expressed her confidence and desire to enter Beijing’s market in the future.

Project Roadshow

This acceleration camp activity is part of the series events for the 6th CRIEC. First launched in 2019 by the BIEA and MSU Science Park, the CRIEC has been held for six consecutive years.
