The 2024 Tour of Miyun Reservoir International Cycling Race kicked off on October 27. As Beijing’s first international Class C cycling race with the participation of professionals, the event drew 20 professional teams from 17 countries and regions, including France, Germany, Russia, Indonesia and Mongolia, along with around 1000 cycling enthusiasts. They reveled in the thrill of speed and passion among lush mountains and tranquil waters in Miyun.
Themed “Ecological Miyun, Happy Riding”, the race features competitions in 3 groups: the professional group (120 people), the open group (500 people) and the challenger group (300).

The race route wound along the banks of the picturesque Chaohe River and passed through the renowned southern stretch of the Miyun Reservoir, allowing participants to enjoy the stunning scenery as they race. Cyclists had to adjust their tactics and skills to navigate through different terrains, pushing themselves to overcome challenges while showcasing the unique charm of cycling. In the professional group, Gleb Karpenko from the Ferei Quick-Panda Podium Mongolia Team, who had finished the race in 1 hour, 56 minutes and 35 seconds, clinched the championship.
