Fengtai District:
Global Bridges Delegation Visits Fengtai District
Recently, the delegation of Global Bridges, a Germany-based nonprofit organization, visited the Lize Financial Business District to learn about its development.
The official from Fengtai District gave an overview of relevant policies, planning, and construction progress. When enjoying panoramic views of the district from the upper floors of Leeza SOHO, the delegation showed great interest in the development prospects of this “City of the Future” and eagerly captured the scenery with mobile phones.
Nicolas Albrecht, CEO of CargoBeamer AG (Germany), said that Fengtai District draws synergy from various industries, such as finance, rail transit, and other sci-tech innovation enterprises which complement and benefit each other. He noted that their first office in China was established in Fengtai, and they also plan to set up a rail transit research center to bring equipment and patented technologies to the district, developing it into a hub that closely connects the companies operations worldwide. The delegation head Hans Albrecht, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of Global Bridges, praised Fengtai’s well-developed buildings and industrial parks, and said that Fengtai District offers comprehensive policy support and an excellent environment. He also commented that he would strongly recommend Fengtai to any foreign company looking to establish business operations in China.
Shijingshan District:
The UN-Habitat Delegation Visits Shijingshan District
Recently, Anacláudia Rossbach, United Nations Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of UN-Habitat, led a delegation to Shijingshan District to learn about the planning, renovation, transformation and upgrading of the Shougang Park.
The delegation was briefed on the renovation and utilization of Shougang’s industrial heritage, gaining insights into the remarkable transformation of Shijingshan District from an “industrial rust belt” to a thriving urban community. From the 40-meter-high platform of Blast Furnace No. 3, the delegation had a panoramic view of Shougang Park and Shijingshan District, appreciating the beauty of the unique landscape and eco-system shaped by the fusion of mountains, waters, and industrial heritage.
The delegation highly praised the transformation of this old industrial area and urban renewal efforts in Shijingshan District and Shougang Park, noting that this valuable experience should be replicated elsewhere.
Daxing District:
MSPC-MATRADE Trade Mission Visits Daxing District
Recently, the MSPC-MATRADE Trade Mission visited Yufa Town, Daxing District, to engage in exchange and matching activities. During the event, Yufa Town signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Malaysian Service Providers Confederation (MSPC).
At the exchange and matching session, the business representatives from Malaysia introduced the country’s development and cooperation opportunities in relevant fields, while their counterparts from Daxing District also gave an overview of the local industrial strengths and investment environment. Both sides agreed that this event would provide a broader cooperation platform for businesses from the two countries. The trade mission also explored key business parks in the Daxing District, including those specializing in smart culture and tourism, hydrogen energy technology, and the digital economy, to further explore cooperation opportunities for mutually beneficial outcomes in more fields.
