Recently, a delegation from the Department of Higher Education and Training of South Africa visited the Exhibition Center of Zhongguancun National Innovation Demonstration Zone. During the visit, they discussed how to strengthen cooperation in vocational education and explore new paths for international talent cultivation.

At the exhibition center, the delegation gained insights into Zhongguancun’s innovation practices and use cases in the field of online education. They commended its role as a cradle for high-tech companies, where original innovation and proprietary technologies are fostered. The delegation also had the opportunity to experience the innovative achievements in areas such as AI, big data and cloud computing.

The two sides engaged in discussions on how to empower vocational education with technology and foster high-caliber professionals to meet the future needs of social development. A member of the delegation said, “We were impressed by the rapid development of vocational education in Beijing and how it is integrated with innovation practices. We hope to seize this opportunity to promote our collaboration in vocational education, jointly cultivating talent with a global vision and professional skills.”
