On July 5, 2024, the Second Beijing Consular Protection Knowledge Contest was launched.
Hosted by the Office of Foreign Affairs Committee of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality, the event aims to act on the philosophy of foreign affairs for the people, facilitate the implementation of the Regulation of the People’s Republic of China on Consular Protection and Assistance, and contribute to the application of the new outcome of Beijing’s systematic promotion and education efforts on consular protection.
To enhance knowledge promotion and learning through competition, the contest welcomes online and offline participation to further promote consular knowledge and raise citizens’ awareness of consular protection. The questions of the contest are based on the Regulation of the People’s Republic of China on Consular Protection and Assistance, the Guide to China’s Consular Protection and Assistance, and the new outcome of Beijing’s systematic promotion and education efforts on consular protection. More details are available on the website of China’s consular service (cs.mfa.gov.cn), as well as the official website and WeChat official account of Beijing Foreign Affairs Office.
Overseas safety experts were invited to deliver lectures on risk control and crisis response for overseas enterprises and personnel during the launching ceremony.
