From May 12 to 19, a delegation from Yemen, led by Deputy Director of Aden TV, has visited China to witness the achievements of Chinese modernization in Beijing and Tianjin and to promote media exchanges and practical cooperation between China and Yemen.

During their stay in Beijing, the delegation explored the Museum of the Communist Party of China (CPC), learning about the CPC’s tumultuous century-long history and the arduous journey of its members.

The delegation engaged in discussions with various organizations, including the National Radio and Television Administration (NRTA), Beijing Radio & Television Station (BRTV), All-China Journalists Association (ACJA), Global Times Online, and China Arab TV. They exchanged views on resource sharing, joint planning, journalist training, and the application of new media technologies, and established a preliminary communication mechanism. In addition, the delegation visited the Dongsi Mosque to gain insights into the history and status quo of Islam in China, as well as companies such as BOE and BAIC Bluepark to witness firsthand accomplishments in Chinese modernization.

The Deputy Director of Aden TV emphasized the significance and gains of his first visit to China, which enabled him to experience China’s rich historical and cultural heritage, witness its rapid socio-economic development, and strengthen his friendship with Chinese counterparts. He expressed willingness to deepen exchanges and cooperation with Chinese media partners as an advocate of people-to-people and cultural exchanges between China and Yemen. He was also ready to tell the Yemeni people about China’s glorious past, prosperous present, and promising future, contributing to the ongoing development of friendly relations between the two countries.
