Xicheng District
Beijing-Singapore Friendly Exchange Reception
The Beijing-Singapore Friendly Exchange Reception was held at the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Xicheng District, Beijing.
During the reception, participants were provided with an interactive experience of intangible cultural heritage, including sugar painting, traditional fan making, and tea art performances. They also had the opportunity to view unique cultural and creative products from time-honored Chinese brands such as Caibai Gold, Rong Bao Zhai, and Refosian. Xicheng District took this occasion to actively engage in mutual communication and understanding with Enterprise Singapore, Singapore Tourism Board, Yihai Kerry, OCBC Group, Royal Golden Eagle, and more. The aim was to leverage foreign affairs platforms to promote practical exchanges and facilitate investment attraction.
Haidian District
First Landmark Event of "Invest in China"
The inaugural event of "Invest in China" was held in Haidian District, Beijing. Representatives from 16 multinational corporations, foreign business associations, and related media were invited to witness the vitality of China’s high-quality development.
The delegation visited Zhongguancun Dongsheng Science and Technology Park, including its international park, to gain insights into the park’s development, high-quality services provided for enterprises and sci-tech talent, and relevant R&D work at the Global Health Drug Discovery Institute (GHDDI). The delegation also visited Microsoft China to learn about the company's development history in Beijing, as well as its advanced information technology and latest products.
After extensive discussions with representatives from both parks and enterprises, the delegation was greatly impressed by the abundant innovation resources and spoke highly of the favorable business environment in Haidian District.
Fengtai District
Festival of Intangible Cultural Heritage and Art of Beijing World Park
The Festival of Intangible Cultural Heritage and Art of Beijing World Park, the 2024 World Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo Release, and the International Cultural Week of Tulips have been successfully concluded by Fengtai District. The festival, under the theme of "Inheritance and Development, Empowering New Quality Productive Forces", saw the participation of diplomats stationed in China from over 10 countries, including Azerbaijan, Myanmar, and Thailand.
Both Chinese and international tourists were captivated by this unique cultural celebration, featuring a showcase of intangible cultural heritage and traditional handicrafts presented by embassies from various countries.
